Why is Uber closing Greenlight hubs? ›

To protect the community, as well as the Uber customer support experts who help them every day, we are temporarily closing all Greenlight Hubs in the US and Canada until further notice.

Uber offers in-person support and signup help in many cities across the world at Uber Greenlight Hubs. Your leads will need to visit a Greenlight Hub to get their profile picture taken and activate their account.

Come to our Greenlight Hub to get support by our trained Experts. Please bring your passport, driving licence, bank statement, national insurance number and a Utility bill (no older than 3 months). These will be used to submit your background check.

How does it work? Upon opening your Uber application, you'll see a small car and clock icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Once you've clicked on that, planning your ride in advance becomes as easy as 1-2-3!
