I love working with ground beef because it’s fast, easy to cook, and cheap! This blog post contains some of my favorite recipes with ground beef that I have come up with over the years, including some that I came up with when I first started my blog!

Here are 5 of my SUPER EASY recipes with ground beef that I know you will absolutely love!

1. Japanese Hamburger Steak (JUICY)

Juicy, savory, tender beef patty stuffed with melting cheese inside, topped with red wine reduction steak sauce drizzled all over the hamburger steak.

Straight from my Cooking Mama Series, this is one of the most ICONIC recipes: Japanese Hamburger Steak! Japanese Hamburger Steak is the perfect weeknight dinner but also the perfect date night meal as well.

It is fancy, with accessible ingredients, and easy to make at home. Get ready to try this juicy and delicious Hamburger Steak that will melt in your mouth!

Japanese Hamburger Steak is made out of simple and accessible ingredients that you can find at your local grocery stores.

All you need is beef, pork, panko, egg, milk, and onions. I like to use beef and pork (2:1) because it makes the patty more juicy and soft; however, if you don’t consume pork, you can use 100% beef.

Optional, but HIGHLY recommended; I LOVE to stuff mozzarella cheese on the inside as it adds another layer of richness to the dish.

I also share a few tips to make your Japanese Hamburger Steak EXTRA delicious, so make sure to check out the blog post!

2. Cheesy Kimchi Bulgogi Quesadillas

The OG post from my Fusion Friday series, I PROMISE you will love these Cheesy Kimchi Bulgogi Quesadillas!

The most beautiful thing about food is that there is never “one way” or “right way” or doing it.

Everyone has their interpretation of what tastes good, and it is always going to be different depending on your culture, childhood, preference, and much more! That is why I decided to start my Fusion Friday series, where I create fun recipes incorporating food from different cultures.

Fusion Food is something that I find represents me well; I grew up in Taiwan and moved to Canada in high school. When I moved to Canada, I started exploring food from all different cultures. Nothing is more fun than mixing recipes that I learned from recipes all around the world.

I love pairing cheese with spicy food; there is something so satisfying about it.

This dish was inspired by my visit to Universal Studios last year, where I tried kimchi tacos; I thought to myself, IF ONLY this had more melting cheese … so I went back home started playing around with different ingredients, and BAM, this dish is CHEF’S KISS.

3. BEST Crispy Taiwanese Potstickers (Secret Family Recipe)

I posted this recipe around Lunar New Year, which is my favorite time of the year because I spend time with my family and eat yummy food!

Growing up, I would always watch my mom and my grandma prepare a HUGE feast in the kitchen every Lunar New Year, and my favorite dish is my family’s secret recipe for the BEST Crispy Taiwanese Potstickers.

The wrapper is made from scratch, while the filling is always super juicy and flavourful. I know many of us can’t spend Lunar New Year with our loved ones this year, so I am excited to have my mom here to share her secret recipe and family traditions with you so we can all feel a little closer to home.

Wrapping potstickers with my mom and grandma is something I’ve been doing since elementary school. We would schedule a day dedicated to wrapping potstickers where we each sit on our little stool, chat, and wrap potstickers for hours. Potstickers are a traditional lucky dish that symbolizes wealth; the more you eat, the more money you will make in the new year!

Now I know you might be thinking to yourself, “what makes these potstickers easy?”

These Crispy Taiwanese Potstickers can last in the freezer for up to 3 months!

This makes them an easy lunch or dinner option after you’ve done the prep work. They’re quick to cook without needing to defrost them, so you have a fast and easy meal ready to go. That’s why I included Taiwanese Potstickers in my list of easy recipes with ground beef!

4. The BEST Chinese Crispy Meat Beef Pies

I promise that these are the BEST Chinese Crispy Beef Meat Pies you will ever try! Pan-fried to perfection, the outside is crispy while the inside is super juicy. Once you take a bite into these Chinese Crispy Beef Meat Pies, you will be blown away by how delicious they are and how easy it is to make at home.

My mom used to make Beef Meat pie all the time, and it was my favorite treat after-school snack. There is something about the crispy skin and the juicy filling that makes it the best snack to have before dinner. You can pre-make them and freeze them in the freezer for up to 2 months. When you are ready, just pan fry and it will taste just as good! I always have frozen food prepared to go, such as homemade wontons, potstickers, beef noodle soup, and more!

The secret to having a juicy filling is mixing in a splash of water. The beef will hold on to the water and rest of the seasoning, and when pan-fried and heated up, the juices will fill up the pancake, and once you take the first bite, juices will be bursting out. I love to pair these with my homemade chili oil and black vinegar as my go-to dipping sauce.

5. Curry Croquettes (Crispy and Cheesy!)

WOW, warning, these Crispy and Cheesy Curry Croquettes are SO addicting that you will want to have it every day once you make it.

Imagine this fluffy potato with cheese filling, seasoned with Japanese curry, coated with crispy panko, and deep-fried till perfection; these Curry Croquettes are so good that words can’t even describe!

You can enjoy these curry croquettes on their own as an appetizer or pair them with rice and creamy Japanese curry.

You can customize the Curry Croquettes based on your diet.

There are many different versions, but I love mine with corn, sauteed onions, and cheese. Fill it with ground beef for a hearty, delicious option!

The corn adds a nice texture, while the saute onions provide sweetness and depth. You can also add in seafood as well.

This post was all about some of my SUPER EASY recipes with ground beef!

I HOPE YOU GIVE SOME OF THESE RECIPES A TRY AND TELL ME WHICH ONE WAS YOUR FAVORITE!
